According to Fightful, here are some details on WWE’s internal inactive list. While AJ Styles denied claims several months ago that he was dealing with a hernia injury, he is currently dealing with just that.
The list backstage does indeed exist, but it doesn’t just list injured talent. It also lists talent that weren’t able to be used for a week of TV tapings.
Naomi and The Usos were listed as “on vacation” last week. Also, Finn Bálor was on it because he was in Ireland. Alexa Bliss was listed under “illness.” She was not on the list at Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown LIVE TV tapings, though. She still didn’t appear on the show.
Each name has an estimated return time and an update on their status. This includes wrestlers having evaluations on their injures scheduled and wrestlers having “no contact.”
The “no contact” list also features Paige and performers that rarely appear on WWE TV like Scott Hall.
Ronda Rousey, who hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since WrestleMania 35, is not on the list at all.
WWE's Monday injury report listed "hernia" as his injury. If it's "fake," blame the WWE doctor who made the diagnosis. https://t.co/W8o0hf3KP4
